I found this test online from 1929 that rates you as a wife or husband. Pretty funny what is considered a “demerit” – such as “seams in hose often crooked.” Does it count if I don’t even wear hose? But I have to say a lot of it probably makes sense even today. The test is based on the opinions of 1200 men and women who “talked frankly” and is recommended for “all intelligent women/men who aspire to make their marriages both permanent and happy.” So I took it.
I scored an even 50 – or “average” on Dr. Crane’s scale.
I scored DH for him – he got a 98 – or “very superior” on the scale.
Just verifying what I’ve always known – I’m the one to make out in this deal!
