I don’t know about you all, but I tend to have grand plans of things I want to make to keep us all organized. The tendency is to not make anything until I have the time to get it perfect. Since time is hot commodity in this house, things basically just never get made.
For several months, our family night consisted of the kids bickering over who got to pick the game. I knew I needed a chart that we could use to rotate assignments. Something like these:
Adorable, right?
I finally decided I’d better do something, so I quickly pulled out my Silhouette Cameo and made a quick chart to print out on magnet paper. It’s not as wonderful as it could be, but it took me 5 minutes and it does the job: no more bickering and no more forgetting.
We simply move the magnet assignments every week.
I used my Silhouette to cut this out, but someone could just as easily use scissors. So here is a version in word for you.

And if you’ve got the time, feel free to make it prettier! I know I certainly would.
